State Contribution Award
Info
Celebrating Commitment, Investment and Industry Leadership
The State Contribution Award category recognises an interstate or international food or beverage manufacturing organisation that has made an outstanding contribution to South Australia's food and beverage manufacturing industry and the broader state economy.
Open to interstate and international food and beverage manufacturing organisations operating a significant manufacturing facility in South Australia, this award celebrates businesses that invest in local manufacturing, create employment opportunities, drive innovation, strengthen communities and demonstrate a long-term commitment to the state's future.
Judges assess each entry across five key areas: industry and economic contribution, employment and workforce development, contribution to the social fabric of South Australia, environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices, and future commitment to the state.
In 2025, Ingham's was recognised as the inaugural winner of the State Contribution Award, with Arnott's and M&J Chickens named as finalists, highlighting the significant impact interstate and international manufacturers continue to have on South Australia's food and beverage industry.
Entries will be accepted until Friday 7 August at 5.00pm (ACST).
