Celebrating SA's favourite food and beverage producers

Support from the public is very important to our state's food and beverage manufacturers and producers, making the Consumer Choice Award, sponsored by Foodland Supermarkets, one of the most highly anticipated categories in the South Australian Premier's Food and Beverage Industry Awards program.

The Consumer Choice Award lets South Australians decide

  • Voting opens on Monday 28 July 9.00am and closes on Monday 29 September 5.00pm. Winners are announced on Friday 14 November 2025.

  • All Australians are eligible to vote for their favourite South Australian food or beverage producer brand during the voting period.

    Only one vote per person is allowed.

  • The following are not eligible for nomination in the 2025 Consumer Choice Award

    • Restaurants

    • Cafes

    • Retailers

    • Food service businesses

    • Wine service businesses

  • Winners are determined by public vote via the voting platform.

    A business can be nominated by a member of the public or they can vote for themselves.

    Two Consumer Choice Awards are presented each year, one for businesses with up to 15 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) staff, and one for businesses with more than 15 Full Time Equivalent staff.
